The Three and half Years Old Boy Diagnosed With Acute Kidney Failure

Project Description
Lord Nana Adjei Gyasi was a 3 and half year-old Ghanaian boy who was diagnosed with Acute Kidney Failure. He had a problem with his urinary i.e. he urinated under his penis. The doctors called it PUD. His inability to urinate freely at the usual place always left some amount of urine in the bladder. The continuous harbouring of urine affected his kidney which made it very weak hence this abnormality.

He was on admission for almost 2 months and on daily dialysis at KOMFO ANOKYE TEACHING HOSPITAL. They had to carry out a surgery on his penis to pave way for smooth flow of urine before they could see how best the kidneys could regain their strength. An amount of 22,000 Ghana cedis (3,300 euros) was needed for him to undergo a surgery on his penis to pave way for smooth flow of urine.

To the glory of God, we were able to raise 24,200 Ghana cedis (3,700 euros) for the surgery but unfortunately for us, Nana could not make it. We handed over the money to his parents on 5th and 6th September 2020.
